AC / DC Drives - Electronics Sr Design Engineer/ Mgr

We are looking for AC / DC Drives Design Engineers to join our client a Top US Engg Firm at their Development Centre in Hyderabad

Candidates must have the following experience, qualifications and skills:

Experience: 4 – 10 years

Qualifications: BTech in Electronics / Instrumentation / Electrical

Skills & Abilities :

Hands on work experience in the field of AC / DC Drives Design and Testing.

Practical Experience in Development of Power Electronics

Systems like inverters, converters, Drives for AD / DC Motors, UPS with High

Voltage & Current Devices like IGBTs, Thyristors, Inductors, Capacitors &

related Components.

Sound knowledge on Power Electronics, DSP and Analog & Digital circuits

Should have worked on IGBT, Thyristor, SMPS and Converter designs.

Good knowledge on agency certification (like IEC/UL)

Exposure to product design & qualification cycle is a must (including product reliability qualification, defining quality and test specification)

Good understanding of PCB design guidelines

PCB design tools : Saber / PSPICE

Six Sigma tools

Embedded hardware knowledge

Exposure to manufacturing and testing setup.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication & project management skills required

Responsibilities:

Generation of Product Specifications, executing projects and coordinating with plant on manufacturing activity

Working on quick turn around projects and redesign projects

Project documentation.

Location: Hyderabad
